BVC 5 - Credit Card Options

The Credit Card Options page in the admin panel allows you to configure the default actions performed by BVC 5 when a payment is applied using a credit card.

The Capture Mode allows you to select how charges will be applied to a users account. You can authorize the accounts funds, and capture the funds at a later time, or authorize funds and charge payment in the same step. Selecting the Security Code checkbox will require that a user enter the CVV security code for their credit card before an order is processed. Selecting the Credit Card Checkbox will display full credit card information, minus the CVV code, in the notes section of an order. You can select the types of credit card that your site allows from the Accepted Cards list. Your payment gateway must also support the credit card type, so review their policies before configuring this option. Finally, you can select the payment gateway that you intend to use from the Gateway dropdown list. Once you have selected the gateway from the dropdown list you can configure the Gateways options by selecting the Edit button.
