Trying to deploy the new version of BV Commerce 2013.0.1.301, and I am getting a check out error.

I have all the same setting as my current running store on BV 5.8. After adding items to cart and entering the correct CC info I get the following message

"Error finding page
An error occurred while trying to find the specified page."

Not sure where to look to fix this. I did check the data on the payment section and it is exactly as our running store. Any Ideas?

It sounds like you're getting an application error and being taken to the error page. Check the Audit Log. You should see an error that corresponds to this. Please post that error on the forum. Thanks!

The error message is a system error

BVSoftware.Cryptography.AesEncryption: Index was outside the bounds of the array.

Checking out using credit card, using authorize.net

Sounds like you may need to generate a new encryption key. To do this go to Options >> Site Settings >> Security. Click the "Generate New Encryption Key" button.

Are you having any problems viewing past orders (i.e. orders placed on the 5.8 site)? To test this view a few orders in the admin that were placed on the 5.8 site and that used credit cards. Also be sure to view the payment page for those orders. If you run into any errors during testing, go back to the Security settings page and click the "Update data with Old Encryption Keys" button.

When I Click the "Generate New Encryption Key" button, I get the same error page.

I can see old 5.8 orders and the payment page loads fine?

What error do you get in the Audit Log when you click this button?

After I select "Generate New Encryption Key", I get taken to the error page on the customer side, same page after trying to check out.
In the audit log I get the same exact system error

BVSoftware.Cryptography.AesEncryption: Index was outside the bounds of the array.

Are you using an alternate location for your encryption keys? The default location is the /bin folder, but you can change this by specifying a path in the Web.config appSettings key EncryptionKeyLocation.

No
I am not using an alternate location, Do you think this is a setup issue?

OK. So do you see the encryption key files (bvkeym.config and bvkeys.config) in the /bin folder?

The next thing I would check is the file permissions on the server. We recommend 'modify' permissions on the site. This will allow the application to write new encryption keys to the /bin folder as well as the various other file operations that the application performs.

Ok
Problem solved. I had the hosting company Generate New Encryption Key, and that looks like it fixed the issue.
I was doing it with no result, thanks for the help.
