I moved my new 2026 to production/live and noticed that I'm not able to see Google Analytics Realtime overview or any other activity on Google. I'm missing something on the new site settings?

After moving our site to production, Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads conversion tracking are not firing on any page — no visits or conversions are being recorded anywhere.

Troubleshooting completed so far, issue persists:

All relevant settings are correctly configured under Options, Site Settings, Analytics:
Enable Google Tag is checked
Enable Google Analytics is checked, with a valid GA4 Measurement ID entered
Enable Ecommerce Tracking is checked
Enable Google Ads is checked, with a valid Conversion ID and Conversion Label entered
The AnalyticsTags control is present and correctly registered in our active theme's master page (Bootstrap4 Turbo theme, Home.master), placed inside the EndOfForm content placeholder — same pattern as it appears in the default Default.master file.
Cleared the site cache and restarted the application via Options, Site Settings, Performance. Neither resolved the issue.
Confirmed this isn't a caching or admin-session issue by testing in a fully logged-out incognito browser session — the tag still doesn't render for anonymous visitors.
Viewed the live page source directly and confirmed there is no script tag referencing gtag or googletagmanager.com anywhere in the rendered HTML, despite the control being present and all settings saved correctly.

Has anyone else run into this with the Bootstrap4 Turbo theme, or know of a known issue/fix for the AnalyticsTags control not rendering even when properly configured? Any pointers on what else to check would be appreciated.

Michael,

This appears to be a bug that occurs when not using the new cookie privacy compliance functionality (Options >> Site Settings >> Privacy Compliance). We are working on a fix for this, but until we release that, the workaround is to enable and use this feature. Attached is a screenshot showing the minimum settings to configure this feature (though you will need to add your own cookie explanation text).

We should have a fix available for download sometime next week.

Aaron,

I followed your instructions but now I see the message below. I don't think customer will like it. What if I leave everything as it was before I made this change, what I'll be missing? just the google analytics?

That's your call, of course, but as a business that operates in California you should be aware of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its implication on your business.
