The the BV generated Google Shopping Feed there is a "shipping" column. I don't see it in the product manager. Is it somewhere where it can be populated from with in BV?
Thanks Matt

This will require customization. Currently the feed outputs a blank value for this field. Most merchants handle shipping through the configuration of their Google account so that real-time shipping or more complex rules can be applied relative to the customer's location.

We do use Google configuration tool. But I want to specify free shipping or a different rate for some product through the product feed. I have tried to use product type properties, but it doesn't see to be picking it up and using the rates I have set for the shipping attribute. Let me know what it would take to use the field that BV is including when the feed is generated. I would want it included in the import/export tool also.

Thanks
Thanks Matt

Can you explain what you tried in detail?

I was discussing this with our SEM expert and he suggested using the shipping_label field. Create a new Type Property called "Shipping Label" or "shipping_label" and then assign a value to the products that you want to ship free. The value can be anything you like (e.g. "free shipping"). Then, in Google Merchant Center, you can create a new shipping rate for an existing shipping service (or create a new shipping service) and then assign that new rate to a shipping label (using the same value that you entered for the Type Property -- e.g. "free shipping"). This should allow you to target specific products with a different shipping rate.

I am testing that right now.
So far after adding the type property shipping_label to one product to test. I regenerated the Google Feed and fetched the feed.
So far it is still showing a shipping rate in Google Shopping. I don't know how long it will take to update it.
Thanks Matt
