Do I have to create 3 different product image sizes for various situations? For example BV 2017 demo site (product details 550x550px, category page 350x350px and shopping cart thumb 148x148px.)

Hello.
Any product can have 1 small, 1 medium and several additional images.
350 x 350 is a good size for small images (displayed in product grids on categories etc.)
550 x 550 is a good size for medium images (displayed on the product page)
Additional images are typically 1000 x 1000 or larger (linked to on the product page)
The cart displays the small image. It's smaller because it gets resized via CSS. |
