For credit card processing I've just switched back to PayPal (PayFlow) from Cayan (used to be Merchant Warehouse) since prices are better overall. Now that it's fully integrated I've noticed an issue. When a cc payment is processed from Admin and it is declined, no information is given as to why it is declined on that page. The status simply remains "unpaid". PayPal support claims that this in a design issue with BVC and that they would be willing to help set up any integration for this. You have to go to the order details page to see the decline info.

I'm not sure what you mean by "now that it's fully integrated"...Payflow Pro integration has been supported since the 5.X days.

Are you talking about the payments page (ReceivePayments.aspx) or the New Order page?

I'm sorry I wasn't clear in my description. I mean that "since I fully integrated Payflow on my end and it is working properly". The problem I'm experiencing is that, on the Admin Payment page, there is no indication of the declined transaction. I click "Charge" to submit the payment and nothing at all happens on this page. If I want to see what happened with the payment and find out that it was declined and why, I have to go to the Order Details page.

OK, that's what I thought you meant. Did your previous gateway give you more details? Which gateway were you using previously? Authorize.Net?

So I ran a test order and put in all wrong payment info and it DID report back and explain the failure. Maybe with the initial problem I reported, it was due to a specific kind of failure. That failure was due to the bank not recognizing our company as a vendor and therefore blocked the transaction. I've attached the Private Notes text.
