I'm attempting to set Fedex up as a shipping method. But when i click on Fedex Meter Number Regristration it is returning this:

FedEx Ship Manager API has been retired. Please use an alternate FedEx solution, or go to http://www.fedex.com/us/developer/migration.html for more information.

Is this a known issue or am I missing something?

Ok, Install those 3 files.

When i click submit to get a meter # it just says

Your meter number is:

And is blank?

OK, it looks like you're just missing the updated FedEx admin pages. For some reason the download on that link I gave you only includes the updated assemblies in the /bin folder. I changed the link in my original post to another download which also includes the updates for the admin. I also posted it below:

That worked. Got it set up.

Now If i have both UPS and Fedex set up. Will it show both rates to the customer or only show the lowest cost. Right now it is only showing the UPS Ground and not showing the Fedex.

In the 2004 version I believe there was some kind of licensing agreement with UPS and/or FedEx that would not allow a person to use their rate servers to compare competitive rates. I'm honestly not sure that I've ever tried this in BV 5, though I have done UPS and USPS together.

I tested this today and you can display both UPS and FedEx sides side-by-side. FedEx real-time rates require that you specify a weight for each product, so double-check that.

I double checked and the product i was testing with did have the weight and box dimensions entered.

Have not been able to get the Fedex rates to show at all.

UPS and USPS i'm not having any issues. But Not getting Fedex.

Have you tried enabling diagnostics mode in the shipping method and then checking the audit log? When you do this there will be two records in the audit log, one for the API request and the other for the API response. Typically the response is where you'll glean some insight into what's going on. Because the request and response are in XML it is sometimes difficult to view this without looking at the source (HTML) of the page.

I did try that yesterday and did not see any activity in the Audit log for fedex

It may not explicitly say "FedEx" until you click the audit log entry. What I would do is view the audit log first. When you do that it will add an entry saying that an admin viewed the audit log (though you won't see that until you refresh the page the next time); this will give you a point of reference in the log. Then enable diagnostics on the FedEx shipping method and go to the frontend of the site and get some rates. You may need to alter the country or state in your shipping address to make sure that it's getting new rates from FedEx. Then go back to the audit log and refresh the page. You should then see at least two entries above the 'audit log viewed' entry.

That's a good clue! Most likely one of the following fields below is incorrect. Double-check these values. If they're correct you may need to get new credentials from FedEx.
