May seem a little odd. I have a BV2004 website, at this point upgrading to BV5 is sort of pointless if we're going to see BV6 this year or next year (BTW, don't quote me).

For an upgrade, the product catalog is 100% the same however the category structure is a brand new beast.

1. I have the BV2004 catalog in excel form.

2. I've built the new category structure on the new store.

3. Rather than run the import tool for a mass import, I can click a "Import Products" button on any given category edit.

4. I'm presented with a blank textarea that I can copy paste a few tab-delimited/CSV lines as well as a "Upload File" where I can browse for an excel sheet or tab-delimited/CSV file.

5. Hit import and there you go. All items added to that category.

Expectations:

1. Uploading Artwork. I don't expect it to handle this. Import existing settings and handle it via FTP.

2. Choices. I don't expect it to handle this

I just want the base product imported, eliminating 75% of the legwork. The extra stuff like artwork, choices, URL, etc. is done after the fact.

This is an "extra" option for us to import products at the category level, not to be confused with a Migration Tool or Mass Import Tool.
