I am trying to achieve something called mix and match pricing where a customer can choose different products yet still receive a volume discount provided a sufficient quantity of a combination of products is purchased. It seems this can be achieved thru workflows but im not sure. Any help is much appreciated.

You may want to look into the BVSoftware.BVC5.Core.Marketing.Offer class and build your own discount plugin.
