I just download the Connector for QuickBooks utility, but when I try to install, it throws the following error:
[2][/2]

[2]Module C:\Program Files\BV Software\Connector for QuickBooks 3.24\QBXMLRP2.dll failed to register. HRESULT - -2147024770.[/2]

[2][/2]

[2]I then tried installing on a 2nd PC (which also had QB installed, thinking that perhaps the Connector expected QB to be installed on the same PC), and it also displayed the same error.[/2]

[2]Both computers are running Win XP.

1) Are you running a 64 bit version of XP?

2) Did you run the program as Administrator?

Nope, 32 bit XP, logged in as an admin.

Oh, during set up, I noticed that it defaulted to "Install for me only" (or similar wording - don't have it in front of me now). I changed it to "Everybody who uses this computer".

Also, the 2nd time I attempted this, I paused my antivirus' real-time monitor, to make sure it wasn't interfering with the install.

Any ideas on this?

The fact that it happened on 2 different PCs (both running Win XP Pro, 32-bit) seems odd.

When the error pops up. Just click continue and it should still finish the installation and work correctly.
