NOTE: There is a newer version of the migration tool that works directly against the database (version 5.3.1.1). If you have direct database connections available to both stores it is recommended that you use the new version.

Minor Update to the 5.3.0.1 version to correct an issue with shared choice modifiers not importing correctly.

I'm receiving the following error in the migration tool when trying to upgrade my products from 2004.7 to BV 5 SP3.2. Everything else seems to work fine.

We're trying to export/import a bvc2004.7 store to bvc5sp3.2 new load using the 5.3.0.2 tool - receiving an error message that "Source Store unable to validate Security token". Both stores are on same server (Win2000 server with .NET 2.x with all patches). New bvc5sp3.2 store does not have an SSL cert installed yet, as we are trying to get info from old store over first before we export the current cert to new site setup. We've tried running from remote and on the server directly; same error both times. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Make sure you're not using https:// for the bvc 2004 store or the bvc5 store. It will slow things down and may not work if your certs don't exactly match the domain.

we're just using http:// for both (I did try the https:// for source after receiving the message thinking that this may be the cause for the source error, but got same error with using the https as well)

Check the username/password and admin permissions on the BVC 2004 store. Sounds like the auth token timed out.

We're using the admin logins for the BVC2004 store; we have tried using the customer's admin login as well as the admin login we setup for ourselves. As I mentioned before, it doesn't make any difference if we are running this on the server itself or from a remote machine; same error each way.

Where can I download the newest (version 5.3.1.1) of the Migration Tool for BV2004.9 to BVC5 Sp3.2? The one showing in this post is (version 5.3.0.2).
Thank you.
