BVC 4 had a section in new order receipt emails called "File Download Message." This would appear when the customer purchased a downloadable product. BVC 2005 doesn't seem to have it. It doesn't even seem to have the [downloadlink] tag to put in the email. So the customer has no apparent way to get their file; we would have to include instructions to go to their account, click the Details button on their order, scroll to the bottom, then click the Download button. Talk about non-intuitive. Am I missing something here?

What I did was: i copied the DownloadsPanel from the order history page to the receipt.aspx page. And the corresponding code behind too, of course. And it does exactly what I want: user adds product to the cart, checks out, payment is purchased and then on the Receipt pafe that is displayed in the end, he gets the downloads grid.
