Wallace Miller at Narrowpath Designs makes a sitemap generator that integrates nicely with SF. Automatically uploads to Google IIRC. He lurks here on occasion. If there was enough interest, I'm sure he'd come over and help us out on a few things... many things. |

I made a screen that generates the sitemap real time for the categories.... [ example ] We are thinking of doing another that includes products. Good idea? |

parkar.leonardo - I use the same sitemap generator that Matthew mentioned. Go to http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ and enter your web address in the Starting URL box. I leave all other settings at default and hit Start. After a brief period of time (depends on how many pages your site has), your sitemap will be created. Simply download the uncompressed XML sitemap to your computer and then FTP to the root directory of your site. Then resubmit your sitemap using Google's Webmaster tool. Easy as pie but would be nice if the process was automated as Matthew suggested. |
