I have been trying to work with the import export tool with the following errors.

<OL>
* The tool defaults to localhost with the userid and password filled in which results in a authentication error.

* If I attempt to change the website address to the IP, or change the userid and password, the applications hangs and will not respond to any button presses,and I have to go to task manager to end it.
</OL>
Along the lines of these errors it would be helpful for me to know where to change the localhost default for the store in general. When the store was originally set up is defaulted to localhost instead of host name, which causes problems in other areas

Rob,

What operating system are you running? The default store address is populated from the application settings which are normally stored as an xml .config file under Documents and Settings/Local Settings/App Data
