I had a system crash last night and am rebuilding on another PC.

My Store is upgraded to the current version and had Export working previously.

Is Export 2[2].4 the current setup file?

It installs fine but when I try to launch it, I receive the error: The application failed to initialize properly. Click on OK to terminate the application.

Any one have any ideas?

Thanks

Frank,

Do you have the .net framework loaded on the new machine?

No.

We're talking the local PC, correct? It's not something that I remember loading in the past.

Let me know where to find it if I need it and I'll load.

Thanks Marcus.

Frank,

You can see if it's loaded on you're machine in >control panel >Add Remove Programs. "Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1" - should be listed.

If you don't have it , go to windows update and .net 1.1 should be there.

That was quite an adventure, but it worked.

Any idea why it worked fine on a 2 year old laptop, but needed all of this on a pretty new machine? My guess would be that it had to do with the upgrade process I went through since I used your Export program from Beta on.

Thanks Marcus.

I'm Noah, but that's ok.

When a new machine is brought up, there are a lot of updates that need to be applied. Some are optional, some not. If you have auto updates turned on, eventually, you'll get most of them.

Glad you got it going.

Too much multi-tasking.

Thanks Noah.
