How does the Default Packaging setting work? What is it for? What happens when the UPS Default Packaging setting is set to "UPS Pak" in a Wrapper? Since the Default Packaging setting carries across all UPS shipping methods, I would think that selecting the more restrictive UPS Pack setting, with it's 1 lbs. maximum, would utilize the pack for pricing any package under 1 lb., but then would bump up to "Customer Supplied" packaging, or something like that, if greater than 1 lb.

Sorry for the delay, Tom. We had to go digging in some code to get a definitive answer on this one. The short answer is that you should always use "Customer Supplied" unless you only ship packages via UPS in one of the other package types.
