Using the web service, is it possible to get a product's quantity from Catalog_InternalProduct_FindByBvin?

I can pull the quantity using Catalog_ProductInventory_FindByProductId but I'd rather not make an extra call if I don't have to.

No, you will need to make a separate API call to get the inventory quantity.
