After our first full month using BV5, both our number of sales and gross amount are up 20 percent! We did have a storewide 10 percent sale, so I would attribute some of it to that; so this month (August) will tell, as we are back to normal sales and such.


But also a big plus is the fact that BV passes the customer address to PayPal, something that my previous cart did not, something that is necessary to qualify for the PayPal Seller Protection. I had an order this month where a customer placed an order, chose 3-Day Shipping (at $16.15), did not include an apartment number, so FedEx could not deliver and returned the package. The customer had the charges reversed at PayPal. I called PayPal and explained that the customer did not supply a valid apartment number and I should not be out the shipping charges. Since we had a valid address for the customer, PayPal immediately credited my account for $16.15, without question. That was a big worry/headache for me with my old cart!
