This may have been brought up. An additional control that displays related categories to a given product.
I have an exhaust system. I have a slew of Chrome Polishes, Metal Wax, Blue Away Protectants, Mounts & Heat Shields.
For each system, I could add 50+ products as related items. I'd rather save that space for related pipes and some handpicked maintenance items, while still providing the opportunity for the customer to cruise all the related offerings with one click. |

Interesting idea...we occasionally run into cases where we'd like to use a category as a product. One thing you could do is create a product and then set it's rewritten URL to a category. We've done this before. |

Could you add a link to a category to the long description(s) via Product Batch Edit in the meantime? |

I'm a big fan of manual...been doing the categories as related links for a bit now and it's definitely something that could benefit from being dynamic when taking into account category URL changes, name changes, etc. A small feature that I think can be added to the future version. That's not a bad idea aaron! Good workaround. |
