I cannot stress enough how much i would like to see Layered Navigation like another ecommerce cart (another ecommerce cart.com) has! :)

OK, hmm...makes it kinda hard to tell ya what i want when it replaces my text :) Layered Navigation in Magento is simlar to Neweggs category filters.

Oh ok..good...i love bv but this one feature could make or break me using it in the near future. I've been looking for this feature in a cart but was unable to find one until now...and its free to top it off. Im a c# dev though so thats why i would like to stick with BV + i love bvs modular architecture!

Guided Search won't be in SP5 but we are researching this for BV6 or a future service pack.

Has there be any progress guided search? A time frame of when to expect it?

We have made very good progress on guided search and are testing with a 10,000 product database. I want to make sure that this feature is 100% solid before we put it out there so I do not want to speculate on a release date. We are working hard to make sure it's available in the first year of maintenance plan updates though.
