Suggestion: Don't include a pre-built store with the toolkit?

Okay, I'm not really suggesting that we don't include a pre-built store with BV Commerce Toolkit 6 but I am suggesting that we consider making the toolkit more modular so that it can be dropped into an existing ASP.NET web site.
I'm thinking that instead of having a pre-determined structure with pages/features we would ship the toolkit and an "example store" which would show how to implement a basic store with the modules.
Any thoughts?

BV Commerce 5 = BV Commerce Toolkit
The BV Commerce Service is coming in the next couple of months and the rename to "tookit" is to help distinguish between packages software and service version.

As long as whatever you ship comes with a real manual and a real user guide.
Manual for the nuts and bolts tinkerers who don't mind staying up til 3:00am.
User guide for the poor, dumb bastards that have to load products and run the admin on a day-to-day basis. The chapter on shipping couldn't need to be any more than 30-40 pages..... |

That's an interesting idea. I'm all for more modularity. It's always interesting splicing BV into an existing website or splicing a website into BV (depending on the project requirements). |
