I was hoping for an online demo like the one for BVC 2004. Is the 30-day trial download the only one you'll have available?

I wasn't necessarily looking for something that was usable on a production site (like bvc2004), but it would definitely be more helpful if there was NOT a 30-day limit.

ComponentArt does this with their asp.net control suite. You can install it and use it as long as you want, but it's "crippled" in that it randomly doesn't work and instead displays a "this is a demo" sort of message, making sure nobody would ever use it on a live site.

I believe that SF6 has that functionality but in as standard ;)

Same here. The BVC2004 demo site was the largest single factor in my decision to purchase the software. I'm sure that given the opportunity to explore the new version in the same manner would result in an upgrade. Having to install a demo for this purpose just isn't pratical for some of us.

Hey now, we must be politically correct. Crippled isn't the right word...its functionally challenged.

You mean it's "differently abled" don't you ("challenge" is such a negative word, you know)?

I've got enough editor in me to hate euphesims - just stick with the simplest, most-descriptive words! :)

I mean, come now, Michael Jordan's "differently abled!" than the rest of the planet's population (when it comes to b-ball :)

I just installed the demo, but when I click the "place order" button in the checkout nothing happens, the page just refreshes. In the order admin it shows an order was placed, but I never received a confirmation order # during the checkout. Did I install something incorrectly?

Also if I try to add a product when editing an order, it will add the product with a quantity of 0. Anyone else installed the demo?

Sharp! My odometer just turned 60k on the way in and I've loved driving every mile... I just wish mine was as shiny as yours!
