We cannot get the gray box to show up on our checkout page that includes the subtotal, shipping, and total above the checkout icon. We are using the "One Page Checkout Plus" - Is this something separate that we need to install?

This is an option that you need to enable in the admin. Go to Options >> Site Settings >> Orders. Under "Cart Settings" check the box next to "Display Shipping Calculator In Cart". One thing to keep in mind is that if you use real-time shipping rates from UPS, FedEx, or USPS enabling the cart shipping calculator can slow your cart page down.

That option is currently enabled... We currently have the pop up window that displays the shipping rates, however, it does not show up automatically on the checkout page.

In that case it sounds like your Cart.aspx page was not properly upgraded. It should have this register directive at the top of the page:

And this control should appear on the page just before the closing of the <div id="carttotals">.

Thank you for the information. I believe we are almost there!! As we were testing the pricing, when we add a promo code it does not change the shipping within the gray box, however it crosses out the old shipping showing the new pricing in the pop up box. (Please see attachment) Is this something that is not within the update? Or could this be an error on our part?

If you reload the cart page (after entering the coupon code) and then open the shipping box, does it show the lower rates? If so, could you then explain the details of your offer setup so we can try to reproduce the issue here; it could be a bug on our end. Thanks!

Yes, if we reload the page the offer is reflected in the shipping rates- However, if the wrong promo code is used, or if you remove the promo code, the discounted rates are still showing

Our current offer is Free Shipping on orders over $100
All other orders qualify for 20% off shipping

(2 separate promo codes) - So if a customer tries to use the Freeship promo code on a $75 order and sees that it is not the right promo code, and then goes in to add the 20% off code, it does not change-

Could we possibly use the same promo code for both of our discounts?

Ex: FreeShipping on orders over $100
or 20% off shipping on orders under $100

Yes, you can do that. You also do not need to use a coupon code for an offer; if you don't use a code the offer will automatically apply.
