I'm not sure how this hasn't been pointed out before, or if I'm the only one having this problem, however I have tried to run a migration now 6 times and each time I do a lot of the information is imported incorrectly. For example, after the import, for some reason the web catalog lists the pricing of all products for what is filled in for Cost rather than the price. None of the customer choices for all product accessories seem to get imported. I would think that these would get imported as cross-sells?

Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

We don't have any other reports of problems similar to yours. The only issues we've seen so far have been timeout issues.

Have you checked the log file for the migration tool?

Hi,

I was BVC2004.7, I only began using BVC in April and i don't think any updates were released since then. We did make some customizations to the software via plugins however our only database changes were the addition of tables and stored procedures. We made no changes to any of the web service files whatsoever.

In looking at the log it appears that everything is working "fine", on the product entries it is listing importing product X, saving X, Complexity 0 for X. Then in related items it appears to go through them all with converting X down through all the products without any errors. The one thing i never see it doing which may be one of the problems is, it never appears to attempt to migrate product choices which contain all of my accessory lists and would be the real cause of headache to have to manually reenter.

Do you have a link to the current store? Something is odd here. Maybe it's the way you did the choices.

I'm seeing a problem with product choices too. Customer choices for a specific product migrate fine. Shared choices are also migrated successfully, but products that are assigned shared choices lose this assignment after the migration. No problems found in the log file.

I had a serious amount of issues importing about 3500 products in. Some had shared choices and most had proprietary attributes. I noticed that HTML was lost in most places in which case I just stopped after that.
